From my saves

Here are a few pieces I’ve been quick to save over the past few weeks. If my budget would allow, I would buy every single thing.

THE MULE in Zebra Ponyhair – Nou, £340

Leopard print, I <3 you – but this pair of zebra print heeled mules speaks to me. A mix of baby blue and zebra print, they feature an open-toe design with a walkable kitten heel, and they might just be the classiest yet coolest shoes I’ve ever laid eyes on. Just imagine them peeping out from under a pair of baggy jeans. Perfection!

Pure Cotton Poplin High Waisted Shorts – Marks & Spencer, £16

The fit of these shorts are everything. I’m a girl with thick thighs and normally avoid shorts altogether, but this style has completely won me over. I picked up the white pair and can’t wait to wear them all summer long.

Vintage Lace Dress – PLÜMO, £89

I’m so onboard with the trend of layering a long dress over a pair trousers or jeans. This vintage-style number scratches an itch in my brain – it features a flattering square neckline, lace detailing and ribbon fastenings, and I love how it has an opening on either side.

Green Checked Print Asymmetric Hem Sleeveless Midaxi Dress – Tu Clothing, £26

Sainsbury’s Tu Clothing is one of my favourite supermarket brands. Equal parts affordable and stylish, I could easily shop my entire summer wardrobe from there. Right now there’s a great range of wide-leg trousers, asymmetric tops, throw-on dresses and breezy shorts, available in a choice of colours and prints. I instantly grabbed this green check dress the moment I saw it on the brand’s new-in page and it couldn’t be more flattering (the way it cinches me in!). You can also pick it up in a blue shade.

Iris Corset & Skirt in Mauve – I AM DELILAH, £92 & £98

This set is chef’s kiss, but the custom fees to get this over from Australia are on the pricier side. It comes in two colour combos: magenta, orange and purple, and aqua, yellow and brown. Both pieces are doubled-lined and made from a stretchy fabric that smoothes over your shape. The corset top is designed with a straight neckline and a lace-up back, while the skirt features a floaty asymmetric shape. You could easily wear them seperately if you wanted to.

Hunter Original Cowboy Wellington Boots – ASOS, £120

I’m off to Leeds festival in August and right now I’m trying to nail down what I’m wearing. A good pair of boots is a must, and this style combines that classic cowboy shape with a wellington finish – perfect for the unpredictable UK weather. Available in four colours and prints, they would look great with a pair of shorts and basic tee, finished with a bandana around the waist.
